About
Lucia Roohizadegan
My lifelong passion for painting, writing, and reading was sparked by many childhood visits to the library with my mum and siblings. I instantly fell in love with books, and ever since, I have worked towards fulfilling my dream of becoming an artist, illustrator, and author. Growing up, I nurtured my creativity by constantly immersing myself in arts and crafts. My affinity for words and images and understanding of the synergy between them was always there.

I employ traditional painting techniques and use water-mixable oil paints as my primary medium. My paintings are detailed, meditatively time-consuming, and brimming with hidden stories. The subjects I paint have been meticulously chosen and are inspired by interests close to my heart. When I’m not painting, I’m out playing tennis, running, swimming, or catching up with loved ones at the beach for a cup of coffee.
